All India Council for Technical Education is an educational council in the country managing technical courses and Institutions providing such courses. Lakhs of students are involved in different programs in AICTE registered institutes and colleges. Currently the authority is providing scholarship to different students in the country including disabled students who have 40% or more disability and pursuing technical diploma or degree program in the financial year of 2025-26.

AICTE Saksham Scholarship Benefits
- ₹50,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 4 years for the first year admitted students and maximum 3 years for the second year admitted students through lateral entry as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationery, books, equipment, software, etc.
- After selection, the awardee will be paid a scholarship through DBT mode on annual basis.
- The scholarship will be renewed for the next year of study on receipt of renewal through National Scholarship Portal by submitting a passing certificate/ mark sheet along with letter from the Head of the Institution on the online portal
Eligibility for AICTE Saksham Scholarship 2025
- Only students studying in AICTE institutes in the country are eligible to apply for the Saksham scholarship program 2025.
- The scholarship is only prepared for disabled students belongs to PWD category who have 40% or more disability
- The student should either pursuing 2 year diploma program or 3 years degree program in the institute.
- The student should enroll in 1st year or 2nd year in institute in the session of 2025-26.
- The annual family income of the student should be less than 800000.
- The student should not avail any other scholarship program from the state or the centre or any other institution.

Exclusions under Saksham Scholarship 2025
- Students failing to get promoted to the next class/level would forfeit the scholarship.
- The gap period between the year of passing the qualifying exam and the session of admission in the degree course should not be more than two years.
- If a candidate failed/drops out in a subsequent year, she/he will not be eligible for further scholarship.
- The grant of scholarship is subject to the condition that the student does not receive any financial aid in the shape of scholarship/any emoluments, salary, stipend, etc. from any other source during her / his course of study in the Institute.
- In case of receipt of any financial assistance from any other sources, the scholarship shall be discontinued and the entire amount of the scholarship will have to be refunded to AICTE by D/Draft drawn in favor of “Member Secretary, AICTE” payable at New Delhi.

What is the mode of disbursement of scholarship?
Scholarship will be disbursed only via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in the bank account of the student by AICTE. Student must have General Saving Account in his / her name (FRILL / Minor / Joint account will not be accepted).
What are the reasons for rejection of promotion certificate?
The followings may be the reasons i.e.. A) Incomplete or blank promotion certificate submitted.
