Features of PM Matru Vandana Yojana 2024
- PMMVY 5000 for first child: The scheme will provide 5000 rupees payment into two installments to the eligible pregnant women in the country who are going to deliver their first child. Where the first installment by include 3000 rupees which will be provided On registration of pregnancy and at least one Ante-natal check-up within 6 months from LMP date and Next 2000 rupees will be provided after the birth of the child.
- 6000 for second child: Women will get 6000 rupees from the program to deliver the second child.
- However there is a condition in this program has the second child should be a girl child only. So once the women successfully complete the registration after pregnancy and complete all due vaccines till the girl child attains age of fourteen weeks from the date of birth, they will get 6000 one time in bank account directly.
- Apart from this lactating women are also able to get 500 rupees per month in different states according to the program.
- The program is specially design for socially and economically backward sections in the society including SC ST women, PWD women, BPL card holder women etc. So they can get the financial assistance for their care from the government accordingly.
