Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL 2025
Nationality.
One of the following must be a candidate.
(a) an Indian national, or.
(b) a territory of Bhutan or Nepal, or.
(d) a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling here permanently, or.
(e) a person of Indian origin who has moved to India permanently from countries such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
Age Limit
For SSC CHSL positions, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 27. Candidates may apply if they were born between 02-08-1998 and 01-08-2007.
Education Qualification
- Candidates who intend to take the CHSL 2025 exam must have passed the 12th Standard or an equivalent exam from an accredited Board or university in order to be eligible for LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade “A” (with the exception of DEOs in Departments or Ministries).
- For the position of Data Entry Operator (DEO) or DEO Grade “A” in the Ministry of Culture, Food and Public Distribution, and Consumer Affairs, a 12th grade science pass with mathematics as a subject from an accredited board or its equivalent is required.
