Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri- Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana 2025
To be eligible for the Mukhyamantri- Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Gender: The applicant must be female.
2. Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Maharashtra.
3. Age: The applicant should be within the age range of 21 to 65 years.
4. Bank Account: The applicant must possess a bank account that is linked to their Aadhaar number.
5. Income: The total annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed ₹2,50,000. This includes outsourced employees, voluntary workers, and contract workers whose income is also capped at ₹2,50,000.
- Ration Card: Holders of a Yellow or Orange Ration Card are exempt from providing an income certificate. However, those with a White Ration Card or no ration card must submit an income certificate demonstrating an annual income of up to ₹2.50 lakhs.
- Economic Status: Preference will be given to women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

6. Marital Status: The applicant must fall into one of the following categories:
– Married Woman
– Widowed

– Abandoned and Destitute Women

For newly married women whose names do not appear on the ration card, the husband’s ration card, along with the marriage certificate, will be accepted as proof of income. If the woman was born in another state, any one of the following documents belonging to her husband will be accepted: a voter ID card that is at least 15 years old, a ration card that is at least 15 years old, a school-leaving certificate, a birth certificate, or a domicile certificate.
Exception:
- Families with a total annual income exceeding ₹2.50 lakhs are disqualified from participation.
- Households that include income taxpayers are not eligible for the scheme.
- Families with individuals employed in permanent government positions or receiving pensions are excluded, although exceptions exist for outsourced, voluntary, or contract workers earning up to ₹2.50 lakhs.
- Women who are recipients of other government financial assistance programs providing monthly support of ₹1500 or more are ineligible.
- Households with current or former Members of Parliament (MPs) or Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) are disqualified.
- Families with members occupying roles such as Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Director, or Member in governmental organizations are not eligible.
- Ownership of a four-wheeler, excluding tractors, disqualifies a family from the scheme.
- Women from families possessing more than five acres of land or those employed by the government are generally excluded unless they fulfill specific criteria.
- Several categories of women are specifically excluded from this financial assistance program.
- Families with any member classified as an income taxpayer or holding a permanent government job or pension are not eligible for the scheme.

4. After that, enter the Captcha code and click “Sign-up.” An OTP will be sent to you.
