DA Hike by 2% in Haryana government
The government was already giving 53% DA and DR to all the pensioners and employees on the state government, but they were waiting increment in the salary from January 2025. Now the government have revised DA and DR rates by increasing it 2%. Employees will now get 55% DA in their regular salaries.

55% dearness allowance to employees and pensioners in Haryana!
Currently Government employees and government pensioners in Haryana state are getting 53% additional salary under the DA and DR increment. But now they will receive 55% DA and DR in April salary. The state government have followed the pattern of Central Government in revision of dearness allowance for employees and pensioners.
Central government has also increased 2% DA 28 March 2025, after that other states including Delhi government, Uttar Pradesh government and others have revised DA for their employees. However the Haryana government is late in DA Hike but it will not reduce salary of their employees and will give proper benefits.
How much you can get?
The announcement of DA Hike is announced on 23 April 2025, but it will not implement from the April salary but will include salary of the employees from 1st January 2025. Pensioners and employees were receiving their net income including basic pay+ 53% DA+ additional announce from January to March 2025. But now they will get 55% DA hike in the salary of April 2025.
Apart from this, depending salary of the employees for last 3 months will also be released as an arrear amount in the April and May payouts. For example, If an employee is getting 20000 basic pay + 53% of basic pay= 10600 rupees and other allowances from January to March salary.
But according to the new announcement by the finance minister in the state of increasing 2% DA, employees are able to get 55% DA from January to April. So they will get 20000 + 55% of basic pay+ 11000. Apart from this they will also get 400 for each month from January to March.
How will your salary impact?
It will impact your salary with higher allowances where we will not only get 55% DA but will also able to receive HRA, medical allowance, travel allowance and other benefits. Pensioners will also to get the same benefits accordingly. Apart from this if your salary is coming in paises for example 30,456.45 then government will follow upward method where if your salary is less than 50 paise then you will not get this amount in salary.

But if the salary is ending with more than 50 paise then you will get 1 rupees for this amount .If the 55% of basic pay of your salary is less 10000 rupees and 30 paise, then you will only get 10000 rupees, but if the basic pay of your salary is 10000 rupees and 57 paise then you will get 10001 rupees accordingly.
So now more than 6 people in the Haryana state including 3 lakh employees who are currently working in Haryana Government and 3 lakh pensioners who are his in government pension from the state will see an increment in their April salary.
