Amma vodi scheme has been launched by the chief minister (YSR jagan mohan reddy) of Andhra Pradesh. The main aim of this scheme is to provide support to the lakhs of below poverty line mothers and guardians to educate their children from class I to Xll in the following institutions:-

1. Recognized government in the state.
2. Private aided in the state.
3. Private unaided school / Jr. Colleges in the state.
4. Residential schools / colleges for the academic session 2019 – 2020 in the state.

1. To provide the financial support to the mother or guardian, who is below poverty line irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region to enable her to educate children upto the class Xll in all government, private school / colleges in the state.
2. To modernization the 45,000 government schools, 471 junior colleges, 148 degree college and hostels in the state.
3. To revamp the infrastructure in the state’s educational institutions.
4. The government provide the budget of ₨ 14,000 crore to the state.
5. Use the English as a medium of instruction from class 1 to 6 in all the schools in the state.
6. This main aim of this scheme to bring the changes in the education system of Andhra Pradesh.

Features of the Andhra Pradesh Amma Vodi Scheme

1. The funds will be directly transferred to the candidate bank account every year in January until they complete their education.
2. After the beneficiary completes his / her standard twelfth then no support will be provide to the beneficiary’s mother.
3. The fund provided by the state government will help the poor families to attend the school and help them to cover some of their expenses.
4. Through this scheme the poor families will be encourage to send their children to school.
5. This scheme also helps to increase the percentage of school – going children in the rural areas.
6. No fund will be given to beneficiary if they want to end their education.

Amma Vodi Scheme Eligibility

The following are the eligibility criteria for the amma vodi scheme:-                                                                                                               

1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of the state.
2. Applicant must be from below poverty line (BPL) and they have white ration card.
3. The beneficiary must be study in the government or private school/ college between classes 1 to 12.
4. Those children who can leave the school does not avail the scheme.
5. There should be minimum 75% attendance of the students in the school.
6. Any government employee, PSU employee and government pension holder are eligible for this scheme.

1. Student must have their school identity card.
2. Applicant must have their aadhaar card.
3. Applicant must have their address proof documents.
4. Student school name.
5. Applicant must have their bank account details.

Amma Vodi Application Registration

Step1: firstly, visit to the official website of amma vodi scheme.

Step2: on home page you have to click on the ‘’ Amma Vodi Application download form’’ option.

Step3: now, you have to download the application form and take out print of the form.

Step4: after download the form you have to fill the Amma Vodi Application form with all the necessary details in it.

• Aadhaar number of the students.
• Aadhaar number of the student’s mother.
• And student’s mother’s bank account details with the IFSC code.

How to check the amma vodi scheme beneficiary list?

Step1: go to the official website of the amma vodi scheme.

Step2: a home page will be appear on the screen, click on the ‘’Beneficiary List’’ option.

Step3: after clicking on the beneficiary list a new page will be open.

Step4: now you have to fill the following details such as:

• Name of the student.
• Mother / guardian aadhaar number of the student.
• Class of the students.
• Name of the school of the student.
• Mother / guardian name of the student.
• Bank account number of the mother / guardian.
• IFSC code and branch name of the bank.
• Ration card number of the mother / guardian.

Step5: after filling all the details fill the verification code.

Step6: after that beneficiary details appear on the screen.

Step7: now you have to click on the print option and take out the print for the further use.

Payment Disbursement Process

• Amount Credited Directly to mother’s bank account.
• First Instalment (₹7,500) – April 2025.
• Second Instalment (₹7,500) – September 2025.
